I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world. The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do. If you don’t make mistakes, you aren’t really trying.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
Every great achievement was once considered impossible.
Take risks: If you win, you will be happy; if you lose, you will be wise.
Do not go where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will. The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. Believe you can and you’re halfway there.
In the end, what we regret most are the chances we never took.
It is your attitude at the beginning of a task that determines success or failure. Don’t wait until people are dead to give them flowers.
Don’t let your pride or lack of courage stand in the way of saying you’re sorry. Never stop doing your best just because someone doesn’t give you credit. It doesn’t take strength to hold a grudge; it takes strength to let go of one. I would rather make my name than inherit it.
Measure your days by how the corners of your mouth turn.
The best way to make your dreams come true is to wake up.
You don’t drown by falling in water. You drown by staying there.
From every wound there is a scar, and every scar tells a story. A story that says, I survived.
Never give up on what you really want to do. The person with big dreams is more powerful than one with all the facts. Think big thoughts, relish small pleasures.
Remember: Success comes to the one that acts first.
