Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
1 He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
4 The king by judgment establisheth the land: but he that receiveth gifts overthroweth it.
5 A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his feet.
6 In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice.
7 The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it.
8 Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise men turn away wrath.
9 If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest.
10 The bloodthirsty hate the upright: but the just seek his soul.
11 A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.
12 If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked.
13 The poor and the deceitful man meet together: the LORD lighteneth both their eyes.
14 The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.
15 The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.
16 When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.
18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
19 A servant will not be corrected by words: for though he understand he will not answer.
20 Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? there is more hope of a fool than of him.
21 He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him become his son at the length.
22 An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.
23 A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.
24 Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul: he heareth cursing, and bewrayeth it not.
25 The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
26 Many seek the ruler’s favour; but every man’s judgment cometh from the LORD.
27 An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.
What is vision?
The faculty or state of being able to see.
An experience of seeing someone or something in a dream or trance, or as a supernatural apparition.
From the creation of Akwa Ïbôm State Oro’s political duty is to officially forge an alliance with other ethnic groups such as Ibibio and Annang, to adopt and endorsed, support and to feed them to achieve their different objectives.
The selfishness/self-interest and greed of our politicians completely undress our nakedness before the general public.
Our educational system is fading away, our health care facilities so ridicule.
It is obvious to see our political leaders forging an alliance with these contemptuous people and dancing along side with their drums beat with no stamina, moving backward instead of moving forward leaving us with no option but to face this same dilemma every election year.
I wonder why the Ibibio’s and annang’s can’t forge alliance with Oro.
My question is, how do we evaluate request? how do we evaluate ourselves? how do we evaluate our situation? how do we evaluate issues? how do we evaluate our destiny before making decisions? Let’s think this over.
Is it not dangerous to make a decision that will negatively affect our destiny? Our land is too fertile to ignore, we are too bless with natural resources to juggle with. But why can’t we forge an alliance within ourselves, unite and become our own Boss? build a single one society? Why do we keep on importing and baby faces every election year?
2007 our governorship candidate Larry Esin who declared his intention 30 days to the then PDP’s primaries and successfully won but otoyo otu ita deprived him that privilege hoping to be the PDP south-south chairman on merit forgetting that he’s selling entire Oro’s including himself and his family’s birth right after the whole scenario we forge an alliance with the annang’s of akpabio that takes him to where he is, 2011 the same man declared his intention but our prominent oronians turns their back on him it was okada men that shows this man love after the whole scenario we forge an alliance with the same annang hoping for 2015 even when the waves of that alliance was uncleared, uncertain I used articulate what I see in Akpabio’s government but it was an insult to some people.
Now is the 2015 we perversely forge alliance for but what is the result? Is the scenario different? The contemptuous Akpabio’s purported government that prompted our politicians (deceivers) to forge that alliance purportedly declare us illegal, declared us a minority and declined our call for support, the same man who was the reason behind the fight between ukpta and eyobasi, the same man Oro’s lay their lives for, the same man whom Oro abandoned their brother for, the same man is now Judas, This the same accusing Oro of not supporting him. and so? We find our way back to Ibibio’s who presented her son in-law as her successor during 2007 exercise. When are we going to grow? For me I will want all the governorship and presidential ballot boxes and papers given to Oro destroy, if i where to be the attah of Oro I will order immediate ban of voting president and govenor this 2015. 2011 I predicted akpabio’s second term including banning of okada and what? That was his first budget to consider without sufficiently providing means of transportation for people and the means of living to the frustrated okada men leaving them stranded the only thing he could do is to loan about 50 taxi which is just liability to 50 people.
He started a little manageable but ending this way marks him the worst and contemptuous govenor Äkwã Ïbôm ever had.
This is 2015 instead of akpabio and PDP to fulfill the rotating agreement which is a necessity they bring out udom to cover their corrupt practices now we are in alliance with the Ibibio’s why do we have to make things perpetual to our comfort? Are our we not the cause of our own problem? Why can’t the Ibibio’s gives us the support we need? Why must we always be the one to surrender? How many times will things goes wrong before we learn our lessons? Can’t we stop deceiving ourselves? The same Ibibio’s (green snake in a green grass) who never love nor like us is the same people we are dining and jubilating with whoever is your enemy is your enemy forever unless you turn things around. For me I have decided to sit in a fence.
Let us remember that until we amend our ways nothing good can locate us so it is better to be organized, evaluate what we have at hand for the future and seek cure for our own sickness.
LET’S RISE IN UNITY AND DO THAT WHICH IS GOOD AND GOOD SHALL LOCATE US
GOD BLESS ORO
